The 2023 Ford F-650 is on the way. This amazing truck will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2022, most likely with mild upgrades. The F-650 and F-750 models are originally planned for companies, especially for moving objects from one location to another location.
However, this truck gained instant popularity among regular customers as well. Ford will probably introduce more dramatic changes later in 2023, for the 2024MY. Until that happens, this powerful model will receive minor improvements only.
Gasoline and Diesel Engine Specs
We do not anticipate significant performance improvements. The next 2023 Ford F-650 will be powered by the same 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 engine. This engine will generate 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbodiesel engine will be joined by the gasoline V8. This powerplant option can provide 270 horsepower and a torque of around 700 lb-ft. The TorqShift HD six-speed automatic transmission is shared by both engines.
The F-650 truck, on the other hand, will receive some mechanical changes. For starters, an integrated air compressor will now work with a gasoline V8 engine. The compressor is responsible for powering the air brakes, air suspension, air ride seats, and air horns. However, air brakes are only available on diesel-powered models. And while the F-750 model tows a little bit more, the F-650 is still a great option, towing up to 50,000 pounds when equipped with a diesel engine.
Ford F-650 Interior Upgrades
Many people believe that the interior of medium-duty trucks is not so important. We disagree, and the 2023 Ford F-650 is a prime example. Its cabin is packed with high-tech features, some of which are optional. The comfort is excellent, and there is lots of space inside. The base trim level provides conventional features, so don’t expect anything spectacular.
The interior is comparable to that of the Ford Super Duty models. Of course, you won’t find so much luxury, but the interior is generally a surprise. Because the steering wheel and column are nearly new, nothing will change in this area. Although safety will be increased, the F-650 already has great safety ratings. Overall, we expect minor upgrades this time around.
Exterior Design
Minor improvements and upgrades will be made to the upcoming 2023 Ford F-650. The entire medium-duty truck lineup will be updated at the same time. The new F-650 will maintain its current appearance, with a nice-looking front fascia. Furthermore, the side profile will be retained, while the back section will most likely undergo minor changes.
The front grille, for example, appears to be crisp and sharper than before. The headlamps have recently been updated, and the majority of the ideas are taken from the F-150 truck. New exterior paints are always an option. We can also expect more features as well as some new optional extras.
2023 Ford F-650 Release Date, Price
Once again, the price of the forthcoming 2023 Ford F-650 will start at around $60k. This modern and capable truck will hit the dealerships next fall. We are waiting to hear more details about the new F-650, and we hope to see slightly more upgrades.
