The forthcoming 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor will gain a couple of visual upgrades. However, spy photos are not showing that much. Recently, Ford revealed the 2021 Raptor, which gives us an idea of how the 2022MY could look like. Reportedly, the new Raptor will be slightly bigger and it will arrive with a more aggressive exterior design.
Blue Oval also mentioned the goal is to deliver even more sportiness and a wilder appearance. Thanks to that, we also expect to see more ground clearance. Ford will introduce a new lighting system with horizontally-oriented exterior features. As you know, the current Raptor comes with vertically-oriented amenities.
Interior Changes
The cabin changes are not so major. However, new 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor will introduce more high-quality materials. Thanks to that, the interior will be even more upright. Again, Raptor is all about sportiness and new seats are a possibility as well. On top of that, Ford could offer a brand-new steering wheel. The interior layout remains, but additional high-tech upgrades will happen.
For a start, a new infotainment system is in the works, along with the new driver-assistance aids. Raptor offers a standard 12-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Generally, the Blue Oval manufacturer will improve the cabin in different ways.
New V8 Engine

As you know, Ford wants to rival Ram Rebel TRX that comes with an astonishing 700+hp Hellcat engine. The supercharged unit is borrowed from the Mustang Shelby GT500 model. This astonishing engine cranks out 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. Still, we think the regular Raptor will stick to a regular V8 with not-so-incredible performances.

The 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor will cost around $60,000. The price will slightly increase, but Ford will reveal more info in the coming months. A new supercharged V8 engine is the biggest question at the moment. On top of that, the Raptor R version is also coming out. The sales will begin at the beginning of 2022.
