The approaching 2023 Nissan Titan XD is about to receive additional substantial improvements. This pickup truck is still selling well, but not as well as it was previously. As a result, the Titan XD requires numerous enhancements, which Nissan will provide. Additionally, the Japanese automotive brand is considering additional improvements, including the reintroduction of the diesel engine.
Although the Titan XD is only available in crew cab style, fans will undoubtedly like the diesel engine. Interestingly, Titan XD is a category unto itself, which means that it currently lacks genuine competition. The most recent additions will include specific styling upgrades and various interior updates. This model will go on sale in the second half of 2022.
As previously said, the 2023 Nissan Titan XD comes with a standout feature, its diesel powertrain. To begin with, this truck is equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine. The engine is also used in the Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX80 models. Recently, several reputable sources mentioned the addition of new engine alternatives. This time, the engine is a relatively fresh twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine, but no official confirmation has been made yet.
On the other hand, a 5.0-liter V8 diesel engine will almost certainly be available. This turbodiesel engine delivers 330 hp and up to 555 lb-ft of torque. While exact engine specifications are unavailable at the present, the diesel option is certain to bring increased fuel efficiency and towing capacity.
Titan XD Nismo is Not Official Yet
As you may be aware, Nissan is gradually implementing its popular Nismo variant. According to recent reports, the next 2023 Nissan Titan XD will receive this sporty makeover. This is yet another fantastic development for the Titan pickup and is undoubtedly a welcome addition to the lineup. Unfortunately, this has not been official yet, but recent indications strongly indicate that this variant will occur in the next few months.
The Nismo adds a sportier appearance, several visual changes, and new exterior paint. The style is more assertive, particularly in the side profile and hood. The wheels will be larger, and the stance of the truck will be slightly lower. The end result is a sporty-looking pickup truck with tremendous performance.
Indeed, the new 2023 Nissan Titan XD will feature an exceptional cabin. As previously said, this pickup truck is only available in the crew-cab body style, which provides an abundance of comforts. Nissan once again makes good use of its Zero Gravity front and rear seats, which provide the ideal blend of support and comfort.
Additionally, the Base S and SV trim levels are available with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the SV and above trim levels include a 5.0-inch gauge cluster. However, more luxuries are available with trim levels such as Pro-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. These trim levels have a larger 9.0-inch display and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
