The 2020 model came with so-much needed updates. It received a major facelift and we now expect to see higher sales figures. Another thing that company plans to do in order to boost numbers is the addition of a familiar version, which will now come as the 2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition. This special edition was in the offer before the recent update and now we expect to see it packed with the new styling. Still, we don’t expect that essentials will be drastically different compared to the previous version.
This means you may expect a pickup truck that comes with a lot of upgrades compared to the standard model. Most of the changes will be in terms of aesthetics, particularly outside the vehicle. Still, a decent amount of interior upgrades should come as well. Changes in terms of mechanics won’t come.
2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition Design and Features
As we’ve just mentioned, this will be a special edition of the full-size truck. In terms of base design characteristics, things will remain pretty much the same. On the other side, we count on a lot of new details and, as you may presume, all of them will be blacked, just like it was the case with the pre-facelifted model. That version features goodies like blacked, grille and black headlight accents, exterior accents, 20-inch wheels, step rails. We expect to find all of them in the new 2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition, just adapted to the new look.
A couple of upgrades are expected on the inside as well. Of course, we count on things like new trim and materials and there is no doubt that everything is going to be blacked out. When it comes to the standard equipment, we don’t expect that this version will come with too many exclusive features.
Standard Equipment
When it comes to standard equipment, we’ve just mentioned that the new 2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition probably won’t come with too many exclusive features. The previous Midnight Edition was available with SV and SL models. Therefore, we can easily talk about the standard equipment for the new model.
The SV currently comes standard with goodies like an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, two USB ports, satellite radio, and a six-speaker stereo, as well as with alloy wheels and heated side mirrors. When it comes to safety features, this model comes with adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, driver alertness monitoring, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking and more.
When it comes to the SL model, the list of standard features also includes things like leather upholstery, heated front seats, a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, a Fender premium stereo, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a power-sliding rear window, remote start, a surround-view parking camera system, front parking sensors, and power-folding outside mirrors.
We don’t expect that the 2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition will come with too many additions, other than styling upgrades.
2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition Engines
When it comes to the powertrain, you may count on a familiar setup. There is a well-known 5.6-liter V8, which puts out 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. That’s quite muscular, while the recent update has also brought a new 9-speed automatic transmission. All in all, the driving experience is pretty good, especially if we consider that this power comes in a combination with pretty amazing handling for a truck.
Release Date and Price
We expect to see the 2021 Nissan Titan Midnight Edition sometime late in the year. We expect that the base price will go around 50.000 dollars.
Has it been confirmed that a 2021 Titan Midnight Edition will be released? Haven’t been able to find one.
