2021 Nissan Titan Warrior Might Enter Serial Production Soon?

Four years ago, the Japanese manufacturer presented a concept of an off-road version of the full-size pickup truck. These days, it looks like we are finally about to see this model in production. Designed to compete with Raptor and other off-roaders, the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior could finally enter serial production, reports say. At this point, we can only rely on rumors, which suggest the new model would feature pretty much the same design as the concept, with minor modifications only.

This means we may count on a pickup truck that is largely based on the standard Titan, but which also comes with significant upgrades in various aspects. Of course, a big number of them will happen in terms of mechanics, but huge visual upgrades are certain as well. When it comes to interior design, we probably won’t see that significant upgrades. Under the hood, the new version will probably come with a familiar V8 gasoline engine, instead of the concepts turbodiesel. The new model should hit the market sometime in the next year.

2021 Nissan Titan Warrior Design

The 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior will be a capable off-roader, so there is no doubt it will come with loads of mechanical upgrades, especially in terms of chassis and suspension. At this point, we don’t know the details but things shouldn’t be much different compared to the concept. To remind you, the concept came with a plethora of upgrades. Some of the highlights are things like new control arms, more robust ball joints, tie-rod extensions, and internal-bypass reservoir coil-over shocks at the front. The rear suspension came with goodies like internal-bypass reservoir shocks, new anti-roll bars, lift blocks, and extended axles.

Still, most of the changes on the concept were made in terms of the styling. This model came with completely reworked exterior design, so we have no doubt the production version will come with the same approach. Still, count on a lot of influence from the recently updated model as well.

Interior

On the inside, we probably won’t see those significant changes. The 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior interior will look largely the same and it will adopt all the changes that came with the recent update, including the new infotainment screen. Of course, a couple of upgrades are expected too. We count on new interior schemes, as well as on some new materials. Furthermore, we could see things like new seats, steering wheel, etc. Naturally, we count on some pretty exclusive things on the list of standard equipment, which will certainly be very long.

2021 Nissan Titan Warrior Engines

When it comes to the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior engine, we count on a familiar 5.6-liter V8. The engine has been updated recently and now comes with a max output of 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, That a pretty respectable output, which guarantees solid performances and driving dynamics. Of course, we also count on a new 9-speed automatic transmission, which provides a smooth and convenient ride. Naturally, the 4×4 layout will be standard.

When it comes to the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior diesel, it won’t happen. The concept version came with such an engine, with a familiar 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel, with 555 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the Japanese manufacturer dropped this engine from the offer, so we doubt it would bring it back for this particular version.

Release Date and Price

When it comes to the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior release date, some sources suggest it could arrive sometime in the next year. However, this model is still just a rumor, so take this with a big reserve. When it comes to the 2021 Nissan Titan Warrior price, we presume that the new model would go around 55.000 dollars. We presume it would compete with models like Ford F-150 Raptor, Toyota Tundra TRD Pro etc.
