2021 Chevy Silverado Dually Truck Specs and Features

Pickup trucks with dual rear wheels are a common thing in the world of hard-working machines. Simply, you get better traction, which is significant for towing, off-roading and overall capabilities. That’s why Chevy will include such models in the next-year lineup for sure, just like it was the case in the previous years. The 2021 Chevy Silverado dually truck models will come in numerous versions, whether it’s about 2500 or 3500 models. You may count on all kinds of configurations, in different body styles, engines, drivetrain etc.

For the next year, we probably won’t see any particular changes. Simply, we are talking about a very fresh model, which arrived just a year ago. Therefore, the best we could see for the next year are some tweaks in terms of the standard equipment. On the other side, the essentials will remain the same. Therefore, we don’t expect to see a 2021 Chevy Silverado dually truck in the offer before the last quarter of the year.

2021 Chevy Silverado Dually Truck Design

In terms of base design characteristics, things definitely won’t change. The 2021 Chevy Silverado dually truck is about to carry on in the same way. The new generaiton has just arrived and it is based on the also-new light-duty model. This means a new platform, improvements in all aspects, more capable engines and many more. Of course, there is also a new styling, which looks way more rugged than before.

On the inside, things haven’t changed too much compared to the previous generaiton. Chevy engineers didn’t bother too much with the cabin, as the deadline for the new model was pretty tight. That’s why rivals look more opulent but in terms of functionality, there is really nothing to complain about.

2021 Chevy Silverado Dually Truck Engines

When it comes to the powertrain, we definitely won’t see changes. Both 2500 and 3500 models will carry on with two familiar units under the hood. The base 2021 Chevy dually truck will feature a recently-introduced 6.6-liter V8 gasoline engine, which puts out around 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. Those who are looking for diesel can count on a well-known Duramax unit, which puts out around 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. While the gasoline model comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the diesel uses a new 10-speed gearbox.

Trim Levels

When it comes to the trim level organization, we won’t see any particular changes for the next year. The 2021 Chevy Silverado dually truck will come in familiar variants. Those would be Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ and High Country.

The Work Truck will be the most basic version of this pickup truck. It is primarily a workhorse, so the list of standard equipment isn’t particularly long. However, it includes tech goodies like a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Custom trim level adds a couple of goodies, such as adaptive cruise control, bigger wheels, more power accessories etc. The LT model adds a lot of convenience features, such as heated and power-adjustable mirrors, a remote-locking tailgate, cloth upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The LTZ trim level includes all the above and also adds goodies like power-folding mirrors, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen etc. Finally, there is a pretty luxurious High Country trim level, which comes not just with exclusive styling details, but also with features like side assist steps, a spray-in bedliner, ventilated front seats and a Bose audio system.

Release Date and Price
