Of course, we are talking about Southern Comfort Conversions and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. These two companies are responsible for Chevy Reaper, an ultimate off-roader. Now, we are expecting to see their iteration of the new generation. According to the latest reports, the new truck could arrive already like the 2020 Chevrolet Reaper. Once again, we count on numerous upgrades in various aspects.
2020 Chevrolet Reaper Specs
When it comes to 2020 Chevrolet Reaper specifications, we presume that the company will once again offer upgrades of two familiar V8 engines. As you probably know, the recent redesign didn’t bring changes in terms of engine output. A smaller 5.3-liter unit is still good for about 355 horsepower, while the 6.2-liter engine delivers 420 horsepower. In the previous-generation model, the two companies upgrade these engines significantly. In both cases, these engines come coupled with the large Lingenfelter TVS1900 Magnuson supercharger.
When it comes to the 5.3-liter engine, a max output goes up to 475 horsepower. In the case of the bigger 6.2-liter engine, the max output goes all-away up to 550 horsepower. With such numbers, the Reaper definitely competes with Ford Raptor, which lighter but has 450 horsepower.
