The all-new 2023 Honda Ridgeline will be redesigned. Ridgeline, a popular mid-size pickup truck, will get significant improvements next year. All trim levels of this midsize truck will have more standard equipment than before. Honda will also make the Ridgeline more competitive by using the Honda Pilot’s unibody chassis.
The new Ridgeline will have the same gorgeous and spacious interior as the Pilot SUV. The prospective vehicle’s powerplant is unknown at this time. The latest model has a great 3.5-liter V6 engine. The sales start next summer and here’s what you need to know about new Ridgeline model.
The 2023 Ridgeline Won’t Introduce Complete Redesign
The new 2023 Honda Ridgeline should be similar to the previous year’s model. Of course, it will get minor enhancements to compete with other mid-size pickups. The front end may get a new grille, LED headlights, and a redesigned hood.
We expect a high-performance Type R variant alongside the basic model. This model has a more appealing blacked-out grille and aggressive styling. With 19-inch wheels and a sportier stance. Still, regular Ridgeline won’t largely depart from the outgoing model, especially not in terms of design.
Cabin Updates
The new Honda Ridgeline 2023 will share many components with the Pilot SUV. The cabin will once again have room for five people comfortably. Honda will almost certainly upgrade plastics for the 2023 model year. All trim levels except the base will have new contrast stitching and fresh fabric upholstery.
The seats are comfortable for a midsize pickup. While the new Ridgeline will come standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, its user interface will be improved. Finally, we expect improved Honda Sensing safety features and new driver assistance technology.
Ridgeline Hybrid Could Happen After All
The current model has a powerful engine. In general, we expect the 2023 Honda Ridgeline will be mechanically improved. Officials have been silent on the possibility of a new powertrain. A 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 265 lb-ft is available now.
With a 9-speed automatic transmission and torque vectoring all-wheel drive, the Ridgeline can pull 5,000 pounds with this engine. The stop/start option saves gasoline, which is great. As for the rumored Type R model, the high-performance variant is not official yet. If it happens, the sportier model will likely have a more powerful turbocharged engine.
2023 Honda Ridgeline Price and Release Date
The all-new 2023 Honda Ridgeline will be available in the first half of next year. This truck is a great choice if you are looking for a reliable and a tough pickup. It has a great design and a modern interior. Expect it to be more expensive, but not drastically. The current pickup starts at $32,500 and goes up to $45,000 with the Black Edition trim.
