The upcoming 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty will receive several changes. To begin, this excellent truck series will acquire bigger touchscreen options as well as new optional cosmetic packages. The Super Duty is available in three models: F-250, F-350, and F-450. Each version is available in three cab setups, as well as single or dual rear-wheel-drive variants.
As previously stated, the Super Duty is revamped in 2020, so the 2021MY won’t change significantly. However, some updates will happen. Blue Oval manufacturer will provide mild visual upgrades, new infotainment, and more high-tech features. On the other hand, nothing will change under the hood. Still, F-Series Super Duty will remain perhaps the most powerful lineup of trucks in the world.
2022 F-Series Super Duty Interior
The interior is getting some interesting updates. The 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty will receive a few refreshments, but they will not be available on higher trim levels. The SYNC3 infotainment system with a 4.2-inch display and another 8-inch touchscreen is still available in the entry-level XL and XLT trim levels.
The Lariat trim level now comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Physical buttons have been relocated under the huge display, making everything more user-friendly than before. Blue Oval will also incorporate a new speech recognition technology and other safety features.
Optional Packages
The new and optional packages for the 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty will be introduced. To begin, the Lariat trim level will now have a Sport Appearance package. The Ford Ranger and Ford F-150 already have the same package. This version includes body-colored external elements such as the bumpers, grille, and side mirrors.
The Sport Appearance option also includes a chrome exhaust tip and black running boards. Surprisingly, this kit is available in combination with the Tremor off-road version. The Black Appearance package is the second new addition. It comes in the XLT trim level and has 20-inch black wheels. Furthermore, this package also comes with darker accents and body-colored bumpers.
Incredible Towing Capacity
In terms of performances, this awesome lineup of trucks will remain intact. The same 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine with 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque is available in the 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty. Optionally, a 6.7-liter turbodiesel engine with up to 1050 lb-ft of torque is also on offer.
With the best setup, towing capability is rated at 37,000 pounds. You may also go with a dual-rear-wheel arrangement. Ford provides a 10-speed automatic transmission, and we believe the ride is pleasant and quiet enough.
2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty Price, Release Date
The new 2022 Ford F-Series Super Duty starts at $35,000 and goes higher from there. The top-of-the-line Limited model, on the other hand, will set you back about $90,000. The sales will likely begin in the fall of 2021, in the second half of the year.
