2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Changes and Specs

The upcoming 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz is getting a minor facelift. First spy shots are here, and we can spot a couple of visual upgrades. Once again, it seems like the Santa Cruz pickup will borrow a thing or two from the Hyundai Tucson crossover. This is nothing surprising, but the Santa Cruz model will surely gain a more upright look. It is a compact pickup that will rival Ford Maverick.

However, Santa Cruz is more expensive and it does not offer a hybrid powertrain. This is something that could change in the future, but 2024MY will not gain any sort of electrification. Some things are borrowed from the Honda Ridgeline truck, including the mechanics. Still, Hyundai will only provide exterior and interior refreshments.

Facelift

As we said, the first spy shots of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz are here. Interesting adjustments have been made to the back part, and fresh spy images also reveal that the front fascia has a camouflage overlay that reveals the grille’s design. The most recent Santa Cruz, like the Tucson model, has a very large grille.

The split headlamps are still visible even though it appears like the headlights are sitting lower than before. Overall, the design is much more appealing than it was before, and we anticipate further changes to the final model. The redesign is still a ways off, though, as this would be the truck’s second model year.

Hyundai Santa Cruz Interior

The upcoming 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz will have an upright interior and be just as refined as the present model. The Santa Cruz will feature a fairly roomy interior that can fit up to five passengers. The new, standard 10.25-inch screen is the focal point of the interior.

However, we are still waiting to see official interior upgrades. The next model shouldn’t experience any big modifications because we only expect a few genuinely small adjustments. The Santa Cruz pickup comes in a variety of trim options, all of which are quite modern and comfortable.

Engine Specs and Santa Cruz N Rumors

The new 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz will once again offer a 2.5-liter engine. It is a four-cylinder gasoline powertrain with 190 horsepower and a torque of 181 lb-ft. On top of that, there is a 2.5-liter turbo-four engine as an option, and it produces 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai offers this engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and AWD system.

However, Santa Cruz does not offer a hybrid powertrain, like its Ford Maverick rival. On the other hand, the Santa Cruz N could be in the works soon. This is a high-performance model that will deliver even more power, a unique sporty design, and a more comfortable interior.

2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz Price and Release Date

The price of the brand-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz will probably remain intact. Therefore, the new pickup will start at around $25,000. The Ford Maverick pickup is still more affordable, and it seems Hyundai can’t compete with that right now. The sales will begin next summer, so we’ll know more about this model in the following months.

It seems they have a lot going for it, except the Exterior Colors that seem to be dull in finish and verry little choice n color selection. My wife and I have been looking at this model but we both agree not enough bright colors in this model for sure so we will have to liook at Ridgline and Maverick as they seem to offer better exterior selection.
Love the design hate the colors, they all look like they belong in the Military or Navy Fleet !!

I Love the looks and design of the Santa Cruz…except what UGLY exterior colors!! I guess I will need to keep my Mazda until I find something with more exciting colors. Hyundai you could have killed it with this! We are so weary of the boring as heck palette. I need a small truck for my business but BLAH is not for me.
